Every Volensy indicator includes a real-time info panel that displays directly on your TradingView chart. This panel provides a live snapshot of the indicator’s performance — the current signal direction, entry price, profit and loss percentage, historical success rate, and active Take Profit and Stop Loss levels. Understanding how to read this panel is essential for making informed trading decisions without switching between screens or performing manual calculations. This article walks you through every data point the panel displays and how to use each one effectively.

What the Info Panel Shows

The info panel is a compact overlay that sits on your chart, typically in the upper-right corner. It updates in real time as price moves, giving you an always-current view of the active signal’s status. Here is what each field means:

Signal Direction

The top of the panel displays the current signal status:

  • LONG — The indicator has detected bullish conditions and is recommending a long (buy) position. This label appears in green.
  • SHORT — The indicator has detected bearish conditions and is recommending a short (sell) position. This label appears in red.
  • NEUTRAL / NO SIGNAL — Some indicators display a neutral state when no active signal is present, indicating that the current market conditions do not meet the criteria for either direction.

This is your primary reference for understanding what the indicator is telling you at any given moment.

Entry Price

The entry price shown on the panel is the closing price of the candle that generated the current signal. This is the baseline from which all Take Profit and Stop Loss levels are calculated.

When a new signal is generated, the entry price updates immediately. Between signals, it remains fixed at the last signal’s entry point, allowing you to track the ongoing trade’s performance.

PnL Percentage (Profit and Loss)

The PnL field shows how much profit or loss the current signal has generated since its entry, expressed as a percentage. This value updates with every price tick:

  • A positive PnL (displayed in green) means the trade is currently profitable.
  • A negative PnL (displayed in red) means the trade is currently at a loss.
  • A zero PnL means price is at the entry level.

This is one of the most useful fields on the panel. It gives you an instant sense of whether the current signal is performing well without needing to calculate the distance from entry yourself.

Success Rate

The success rate shows the historical win percentage of the indicator’s signals on the current chart. It calculates how many past signals reached at least TP1 (the first Take Profit level at 0.5%) compared to how many hit the Stop Loss at 2%.

For example, a success rate of 68% means that 68 out of every 100 signals generated on this specific chart reached at least TP1 before being stopped out.

Note: The success rate is calculated based on the visible chart history. A longer chart history (more candles loaded) provides a more reliable success rate. If you are viewing a short time window, the sample size may be too small to draw meaningful conclusions.

Take Profit Levels

The panel displays all three TP levels for the active signal:

  • TP1 — 0.5% from entry
  • TP2 — 1.0% from entry
  • TP3 — 1.5% from entry

As the trade progresses, some indicators visually mark which TP levels have been hit, giving you a clear sense of how far the trade has traveled.

Stop Loss Level

The SL field shows the 2% Stop Loss price for the current signal. For LONG signals, this is 2% below entry. For SHORT signals, this is 2% above entry. This is the price at which the trade would be considered a loss.

How to Use the Info Panel While Trading

The info panel is not just informational — it is a decision-making tool. Here are practical ways to use it during your trading sessions:

Before Entering a Trade

Check the success rate before committing capital. If the indicator shows a success rate above 55-60% on your chosen asset and timeframe, this is generally a positive sign. A low success rate might indicate that the indicator is not well-suited for the current market conditions.

Review the signal direction and entry price to confirm you are not entering late. If the PnL already shows a significant move from entry (for example, +0.8%), you may have missed the optimal entry window.

During an Active Trade

Monitor the PnL percentage to track your position in real time. This saves you from constantly checking your exchange or broker platform.

Watch the TP levels to plan your exits. As PnL approaches TP1 (0.5%), prepare to take partial profits. If it continues toward TP2 and TP3, let your remaining position ride.

Keep an eye on PnL approaching the SL level. If PnL is heading toward -2%, the trade may be failing and you should ensure your stop loss order is in place.

Between Trades

When the panel shows no active signal or a neutral state, this is a waiting period. Use this time to:

  • Review the success rate and decide if you want to act on the next signal.
  • Compare the success rate across different timeframes or assets to find the best setup.
  • Check if the info panel data aligns with your own market analysis.

Panel Positioning and Customization

The info panel position can be adjusted within TradingView’s indicator settings. Most Volensy indicators allow you to:

  • Move the panel to different chart corners (top-right, top-left, bottom-right, bottom-left) to avoid overlapping with other chart elements.
  • Toggle panel visibility on or off if you prefer a cleaner chart and only want to see the signal labels.
  • Adjust panel size through TradingView’s general display scaling settings.

To access these options:

  1. Click on the indicator name in the chart legend area.
  2. Select the gear icon (Settings).
  3. Navigate to the Style or Display tab.
  4. Look for panel positioning options.
Note: Panel customization options may vary slightly between different Volensy indicators. Check each indicator’s settings tab for available display options.

Reading the Panel Across Different Indicators

While all Volensy indicators share the same info panel structure, the data reflects each indicator’s unique strategy. For example:

  • The QQE MOD indicator’s success rate reflects the performance of its RSI-based momentum signals.
  • The Fibonacci Momentum EMA indicator’s PnL tracks trades initiated at Fibonacci retracement levels.
  • The Kenneth EMA Crossover indicator’s panel only shows LONG signals since it is a long-only strategy.

The consistent panel format means you can switch between indicators and immediately understand the current state without learning a new interface each time.

Practical Tips

  • Do not rely on success rate alone. A high success rate combined with a favorable risk-reward ratio is what generates consistent profits. A 70% success rate with TP1 exits produces steady but modest gains. Letting winners run to TP2 and TP3 amplifies returns.
  • Compare panels across timeframes. The same indicator may show different success rates on the 15-minute chart versus the 4-hour chart. Use the panel data to find the timeframe where the indicator performs best for your chosen asset.
  • Screenshot your panels. Periodically capture the info panel data for your trading journal. Tracking success rates over time helps you identify which indicators are improving or degrading on specific markets.
