While the Signals Panel is your tool for deep analysis and historical review, Telegram alerts are your real-time notification channel. When the Volensy system generates a new trading signal, an alert is sent instantly to the dedicated Telegram channel so you can stay informed the moment a new opportunity appears. This guide covers how Telegram alerts work, how to join the channel, what information each alert contains, and best practices for using alerts effectively.
How Telegram Alerts Work
The Volensy signal engine and Telegram alert system are connected in a direct pipeline:
- The algorithm detects that entry conditions are met on a specific market and timeframe.
- A new signal is generated and recorded in the Volensy database.
- Simultaneously, a formatted alert message is sent to the Volensy Telegram channel.
- You receive the alert on your phone, tablet, or desktop Telegram client.
This process happens automatically and immediately. There is no manual step between signal generation and alert delivery. The moment a signal appears in the Signals Panel, it also appears in your Telegram feed.
Joining the Telegram Channel
Access to the Volensy Telegram signal alerts channel is included with your Gold membership plan. Here is how to get connected:
Step 1: Subscribe via Whop
Your Telegram access is managed through your Whop subscription. When you purchase or activate a Gold membership through Whop, your Telegram channel access is provisioned automatically.
Step 2: Access the Invite Link
After your subscription is active, you will receive a Telegram invite link. This link may be provided:
- Directly in your Whop membership dashboard.
- Via email after purchase confirmation.
- Through the Volensy dashboard under your membership details.
Step 3: Join the Channel
Click the invite link to open it in your Telegram app (or Telegram Web). Confirm that you want to join the channel. Once joined, you will immediately begin receiving new signal alerts as they are generated.
Step 4: Enable Notifications
To make sure you never miss a signal alert:
On Mobile (iOS / Android):
- Open the Volensy Telegram channel.
- Tap the channel name at the top to open channel settings.
- Find the Notifications toggle and ensure it is turned on.
- Optionally, set a custom notification sound to distinguish Volensy alerts from other Telegram messages.
On Desktop (Telegram Desktop / Web):
- Open the Volensy Telegram channel.
- Click the channel name or the three-dot menu.
- Ensure notifications are enabled.
- On desktop, confirm that Telegram has permission to show system notifications in your operating system settings.
What Is Included in an Alert
Each Telegram signal alert is a formatted message that contains the key information you need to understand the new signal at a glance:
- Market — The cryptocurrency pair (e.g., BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT).
- Direction — Whether the signal is Long (buy) or Short (sell).
- Entry Price — The price at which the signal was triggered.
- Timeframe — The chart timeframe on which the strategy is operating.
- Strategy — The algorithm that generated the signal.
The alert is designed to be concise and scannable. You should be able to read and understand it in a few seconds, even on a phone screen.

Timing of Alerts
Telegram alerts are delivered in real time, meaning:
- Instant delivery — The alert is sent the moment the signal is generated by the algorithm. There is no batching or delay.
- Market hours — Cryptocurrency markets operate 24/7, so alerts can arrive at any time of day or night. The algorithm does not pause for weekends or holidays.
- Alert frequency — The number of alerts you receive depends on market conditions and the active strategies. During volatile periods with many qualifying setups, you may receive several alerts in a short time. During quiet or ranging markets, alerts may be less frequent.
There is no fixed schedule for when alerts arrive. They are entirely driven by market conditions and strategy logic.
Notification Settings and Best Practices
Prioritize Without Overload
If you receive Telegram messages from many channels and contacts, the Volensy alerts can get lost in the noise. Consider these strategies:
- Pin the channel — Pin the Volensy channel to the top of your Telegram chat list so it is always visible and easy to find.
- Custom notification sound — Assign a unique notification tone to the Volensy channel so you can distinguish signal alerts from other Telegram messages without looking at your screen.
- Mute other channels — If you use Telegram for many groups, mute the less important ones to reduce notification clutter. Keep Volensy alerts unmuted.
Mobile vs. Desktop
- Mobile is ideal for immediate awareness. Keep Telegram notifications enabled on your phone for on-the-go alerts.
- Desktop is ideal for acting on alerts quickly if you trade from a computer. Having Telegram open alongside your trading platform lets you see the alert and check the chart in seconds.
- Use both for maximum coverage. Telegram syncs across devices, so a single account works seamlessly on phone, tablet, and desktop simultaneously.
Do Not Chase Alerts
A common mistake is treating every alert as an immediate action item that requires instant execution. Instead, use alerts as awareness prompts:
- Read the alert — Understand the market, direction, and entry price.
- Check the chart — Open the relevant chart on TradingView or your preferred platform to verify the setup yourself.
- Apply your own analysis — Does the signal align with your own view of the market? Is the risk-reward acceptable for your account size?
- Decide deliberately — Enter the trade only if it passes your personal criteria. Not every signal needs to be acted on.
Panel Data vs. Telegram Alerts
The Signals Panel and Telegram alerts serve different purposes in your workflow:
| Feature | Signals Panel | Telegram Alerts |
|———|————–|—————–|
| Purpose | Historical analysis and research | Real-time awareness |
| Data depth | Full 11-column detail per signal | Key fields (market, direction, entry, timeframe, strategy) |
| Timing | Access anytime, review at your pace | Instant push notification |
| Interaction | Filter, sort, paginate, study | Read and assess |
| Open positions | Visible with status tracking | Alert sent at entry only |
| Closed positions | Full exit data, PnL, result | No closure alert (check panel) |
| Best for | Performance review, learning, analysis | Staying informed in real time |
The ideal workflow combines both channels:
- Telegram notifies you when something happens.
- Signals Panel lets you dig deeper into what happened, why it happened, and how it compares to historical performance.
Think of Telegram as your early warning system and the Signals Panel as your research laboratory.
Troubleshooting
Not receiving alerts?
- Verify your Whop subscription is active and your Gold membership is current.
- Check that you have joined the correct Telegram channel using the invite link provided.
- Confirm that Telegram notifications are enabled both in the app settings and in your device system settings.
- Make sure Telegram is not restricted by battery optimization settings on your phone (common on Android devices).
Alerts arriving late?
- Telegram delivery is generally instant, but network conditions on your device can cause delays. If you are on a slow or unstable connection, alerts may arrive with a brief lag.
- Ensure your Telegram app is updated to the latest version.
Lost access to the channel?
- If your Whop subscription expired, channel access is revoked automatically. Renew your subscription to regain access.
- If you accidentally left the channel, use the original invite link to rejoin (it remains valid while your subscription is active).
