The Signals Panel is one of Volensy’s core features, providing a live table of automated buy and sell signals generated by Volensy’s algorithms. This help article answers common questions about accessing the Signals Panel, understanding the data it displays, why signals may appear delayed, and how to handle accuracy expectations.

How to Access the Signals Panel

The Signals Panel is accessible directly from your Volensy dashboard:

  1. Log in to your Volensy account at volensy.com.
  2. Click “Signals Panel” in the left sidebar navigation. This is typically the second item in the sidebar menu, right below Dashboard.
  3. The panel opens within your dashboard. The Signals Panel loads as a full-width table showing all recorded trading signals.

Alternatively, some dashboard views may include a direct link to the Signals Panel that opens in a new browser tab. Either method takes you to the same data.

Note: The Signals Panel requires an active Gold or Platinum membership. Free-tier users will see a preview or limited version. Subscribe to unlock full access with all filtering and data features.

Understanding Signal Data

Each row in the Signals Panel represents one trading signal. The table includes multiple columns of data:

Key Columns Explained

  • Market — The trading pair or instrument (e.g., BTCUSDT, EURUSD, AAPL). This tells you which asset the signal applies to.
  • Strategy — Which Volensy indicator or algorithm generated the signal (e.g., QQE MOD, EMA + MFI).
  • Direction — Whether the signal is LONG (buy) or SHORT (sell).
  • Timeframe — The chart timeframe on which the signal was generated (e.g., 1H, 4H).
  • Entry Price — The price at which the trade was entered.
  • Exit Price — The price at which the trade was closed (for completed signals).
  • TP / SL — The Take Profit and Stop Loss levels for the signal.
  • PnL — The profit or loss percentage for completed signals.
  • Status — Whether the signal is Open (active) or Closed (completed).
  • Result — For closed signals: Win, Loss, or Break-Even.
  • Date — When the signal was generated.

Reading the Data

  • Green PnL values indicate profitable trades.
  • Red PnL values indicate losses.
  • Open status means the trade is still active and the exit price has not been reached.
  • Closed status means the trade has concluded with a defined result.

Use the column headers to sort the table. Click any column header to sort ascending or descending by that metric.

Why Signals Show Delayed Data

A common question from new users is: “Why do signal results appear after the trade has already happened?”

Signals Are Recorded After Execution

Volensy’s signals are generated and executed in real-time by the algorithm. However, the data you see in the Signals Panel is recorded after execution. This means:

  • The signal was generated and acted upon at the moment it occurred.
  • The entry price, exit price, and result are all historical records of what the algorithm did.
  • By the time you see a completed signal in the panel, the trade has already happened.

This is by design. The Signals Panel serves as a performance record, not a real-time order execution tool. Its purpose is to show you what the algorithm did, how it performed, and what the results were.

Real-Time Delivery via Telegram

If you want to receive signals the moment they are generated, Telegram is the real-time delivery channel. Telegram alerts are sent at the time a signal is created, giving you the opportunity to act on the information quickly.

The Signals Panel and Telegram serve different purposes:

  • Telegram = Real-time notification so you can act.
  • Signals Panel = Historical record so you can analyze and track performance.
Note: Even with real-time Telegram delivery, there is always a brief time gap between when a signal is generated and when you can act on it. Market prices may have moved during this gap. Always verify current market conditions before entering a trade based on any signal.

Signal Accuracy and Past Performance

Understanding Win Rate

Each strategy’s historical win rate is displayed in the Signals Panel (through filtering by strategy) and on individual strategy pages. A strategy showing a 65% win rate means that 65% of its completed signals resulted in a profitable trade.

Important Disclaimers

  • Past performance does not guarantee future results. A strategy that performed well historically may not continue to perform the same way in the future. Market conditions change.
  • Win rate is one metric, not the only metric. A strategy can have a moderate win rate but still be very profitable if the average winning trade is significantly larger than the average losing trade (high risk-reward ratio).
  • Signals are not financial advice. Volensy signals are algorithmic outputs based on technical analysis. They are tools to inform your decision-making, not directives to follow blindly.
  • You are responsible for your own trades. Every trade you place based on a Volensy signal is your decision. Always apply your own risk management rules.
Warning: Never risk more than you can afford to lose, regardless of what any signal or indicator suggests. Use proper position sizing and stop losses on every trade.

Filtering and Sorting Signals

The Signals Panel provides filters to help you find specific signals:

  • Market — Show only signals for a specific asset (e.g., Bitcoin pairs only).
  • Strategy — Show signals from a specific Volensy indicator.
  • Timeframe — Filter by chart timeframe (1H, 4H, etc.).
  • Direction — Show only LONG or SHORT signals.
  • Status — Filter by Open or Closed.
  • Result — Show only Wins, Losses, or Break-Even results.
  • Date — Narrow signals to a specific date range.

Combining filters lets you analyze performance in specific contexts. For example, you can filter for “QQE MOD + BTCUSDT + 4H + Last 30 days” to see how a specific strategy performed on a specific asset and timeframe recently.

Common Signal Questions

Why are some signals marked as “Open” for a long time?

Open signals are still active, meaning neither the Take Profit nor the Stop Loss has been hit. In low-volatility conditions, a trade may remain open for an extended period. This is normal behavior.

Can I execute signals automatically?

The Signals Panel is informational. Volensy does not currently execute trades on your behalf. You can use the signal data to inform manual trades or set up your own automation using TradingView alerts and webhook integrations.

How often are new signals generated?

Signal frequency depends on market conditions and the strategies running. During volatile market periods, more signals are generated. During quiet markets, signals may be less frequent. There is no fixed schedule.

How do I report a signal issue?

If you believe a signal displays incorrect data (e.g., wrong entry price, wrong market), contact Volensy support with the specific signal details including the date, market, strategy, and what appears incorrect.
