Creating a Volensy account takes less than a minute. Volensy uses Google OAuth as its only authentication method, which means you sign in with your existing Google account. There are no forms to fill out, no passwords to remember, and no email verification steps. This guide walks you through the entire process and explains what happens behind the scenes when you sign up.

Before You Begin

You will need a Google account to sign up for Volensy. If you already use Gmail, Google Drive, or YouTube, you already have one. Before you start, keep one important detail in mind:

Warning: If you plan to subscribe to a Volensy membership, use the same Google email address you will use at Whop checkout. Your Whop purchase email and your Volensy login email must match for premium access to activate. Choosing the wrong Google account now means your membership will not sync later.

Step 1: Visit Volensy

Open your browser and go to volensy.com. You will see the Volensy homepage with information about the platform, indicators, and membership options. Look for the Sign Up or Get Started button, typically located in the top navigation bar and repeated in the hero section of the page.

Step 2: Click Sign Up

Click the Sign Up button. This will initiate the Google OAuth flow. You will not see a traditional registration form with fields for name, email, and password. Instead, Volensy redirects you directly to Google’s sign-in page.

If you are already signed into a Google account in your browser, you may see an account picker listing your available Google accounts. If you are not signed in, Google will ask for your email and password.

Choosing the Right Account

If you have multiple Google accounts, take a moment to select the correct one. Consider:

  • Which email address will you use to purchase a membership on Whop?
  • Which Google account has the profile name and photo you want displayed on Volensy?

Select that account and proceed.

Step 3: Google Consent Screen

After selecting your Google account, you will see the Google OAuth consent screen. This screen tells you what information Volensy is requesting access to. Volensy requests basic profile information only:

  • Your name — Used to display your name on the dashboard.
  • Your email address — Used as your unique account identifier and for membership matching.
  • Your profile photo — Used as your avatar throughout the Volensy platform.

Volensy does not request access to your Gmail inbox, Google Drive files, calendar, contacts, or any other sensitive data. The permissions are read-only and limited to your basic public profile.

Click Allow or Continue to grant access and complete the sign-up process.

Note: If you click Cancel or close the consent screen, your account will not be created. You can try again at any time by clicking Sign Up once more.

Step 4: What Happens Behind the Scenes

Once you authorize access, several things happen automatically in the background. You do not need to do anything during this process, but here is what takes place:

WordPress Account Creation

Volensy’s WordPress backend receives your Google profile data and creates a new WordPress user account for you. Your Google email becomes your WordPress username, and your display name is pulled from your Google profile. No password is set because authentication is handled entirely through Google.

Supabase Profile Sync

Simultaneously, a profile record is created in Volensy’s Supabase database. This profile stores your essential information — user ID, email, display name, and avatar URL. The Supabase profile is what connects your account to the membership system and the signals infrastructure.

Avatar Assignment

Your Google profile photo is automatically used as your Volensy avatar. This appears in the dashboard header, the sidebar, and anywhere your profile is displayed. There is no need to upload a separate profile picture.

Session Creation

A secure session is established in your browser, keeping you logged in as you navigate the platform. Sessions persist across browser tabs and survive page refreshes, so you will not need to re-authenticate every time you visit.

Step 5: Welcome to Your Dashboard

After the authentication flow completes (typically in 2-3 seconds), you are redirected to the Volensy Dashboard. This is your home base on the platform. You will see:

  • Your Google profile name and avatar displayed in the dashboard header.
  • The sidebar navigation with links to all major sections: Signals Panel, Education, Documentation, and more.
  • A welcome message or onboarding prompt guiding you toward your next steps.

At this point, your free account is fully active. You can browse the documentation, access free education content, view the 6 free TradingView indicators, and explore the platform.

Upgrading to a Membership

Your free account gives you access to public content, but premium features like the 7 exclusive TradingView indicators, real-time Telegram signal alerts, and weekly strategy insights require a Gold membership. When you are ready to upgrade:

  1. Navigate to the Membership or Plans section from your dashboard.
  2. Click Subscribe on the Gold plan.
  3. You will be redirected to Whop to complete your purchase.
  4. After payment, your membership status syncs back to Volensy automatically.
Note: The email address on your Whop account must match your Google login email exactly. This is how Volensy knows which membership belongs to which account. If there is a mismatch, visit the Help Center for resolution steps.

Account Security

Since Volensy relies on Google OAuth, your account security is tied to your Google account security. Here are a few recommendations:

  • Enable 2-Step Verification on your Google account for an extra layer of protection.
  • Review connected apps in your Google account settings periodically. You can revoke Volensy’s access at any time from your Google security settings.
  • Do not share your Google credentials with anyone. If someone has access to your Google account, they have access to your Volensy account.

If you ever need to disconnect your Volensy account or have questions about account security, visit the Help Center or contact support.
