The Volensy Education Library is your structured learning path from complete beginner to advanced trader. Whether you are just starting to explore financial markets or you are an experienced trader looking to sharpen your skills, the Education section provides curated content organized into three progressive difficulty levels. This guide explains how to navigate the Education Library, understand its organization, and get the most out of your learning journey.

Accessing the Education Library

From your Volensy dashboard, click Education in the left sidebar navigation. This opens the Education Library, a grid-based content browser where all educational articles are displayed as visual cards. The library is designed to be browsable and filterable, so you can quickly find content that matches your current skill level and interests.

Three Difficulty Levels

Every article in the Education Library is assigned one of three difficulty levels. These levels form a progressive learning path, each building on the knowledge from the previous tier:

Beginner

Beginner articles are designed for traders who are new to financial markets. These articles introduce foundational concepts such as what financial markets are, how to read basic chart types, understanding candlestick patterns, and the fundamentals of risk management. No prior trading experience is required. If you have never placed a trade before, this is where you start.

Articles in the Beginner track are marked with a green badge and typically take 5 to 10 minutes to read. The content uses simple language and avoids jargon where possible. When technical terms are introduced, they are explained clearly.

Intermediate

Intermediate articles are for traders who understand the basics and are ready to build on their foundation. This track covers technical analysis in depth, multi-indicator trading strategies, backtesting fundamentals, different order types and execution methods, and volume analysis. You should complete the Beginner track before moving to Intermediate content to ensure you have the prerequisite knowledge.

Intermediate articles carry a yellow badge and typically take 8 to 15 minutes to read. The content assumes familiarity with basic charting concepts and trading terminology.

Advanced

Advanced articles are aimed at experienced traders who want to master professional-level strategies. Topics include algorithmic trading concepts, portfolio optimization, quantitative strategies, market microstructure, and building complete trading systems. These articles often reference external tools and require comfort with technical analysis and strategy design.

Advanced articles display a red badge and may take 15 to 25 minutes to read. The material is dense and practical, often including frameworks and methodologies used by professional traders.

How Content Is Organized

The Education Library uses a category-based organization system. Articles are grouped into topical categories that cover different aspects of trading:

  • Market Fundamentals — What financial markets are, how they work, and the different asset classes you can trade.
  • Chart Reading — How to interpret price charts, different chart types, and visual pattern recognition.
  • Technical Analysis — Indicators, oscillators, trend analysis, and quantitative tools for evaluating price action.
  • Risk Management — Position sizing, stop losses, risk-reward ratios, and capital preservation strategies.
  • Trading Strategies — Complete trading setups with entry rules, exit rules, and performance expectations.
  • Trading Psychology — Emotional discipline, decision-making frameworks, and building a trader mindset.

Each category contains articles across multiple difficulty levels, so you can explore a topic from beginner to advanced depth as your skills develop.

Anatomy of an Education Article Card

Each article in the grid view displays several pieces of information at a glance:

  • Thumbnail — A visual image representing the article topic, helping you quickly identify content types.
  • Title — The article headline, clearly describing what you will learn.
  • Duration — An estimated reading time, so you can plan your learning sessions.
  • Difficulty Badge — A color-coded badge (green for Beginner, yellow for Intermediate, red for Advanced) indicating the article’s skill level.
  • Premium Flag — Some articles may display a premium indicator, showing they are available exclusively to Gold and Platinum members.
  • Category Tag — A label showing which topical category the article belongs to.

This card-based layout makes it easy to scan the library quickly and choose content that fits your available time and current learning goals.

Filtering by Category and Difficulty

At the top of the Education Library page, you will find filter controls that let you narrow down the displayed content:

  1. Category Filter — Click a category name to show only articles within that topic. This is useful when you want to focus on a specific area like Risk Management or Technical Analysis.
  2. Difficulty Filter — Select Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced to display only articles at that skill level. Combine this with a category filter to find exactly the content you need.

Filters can be combined. For example, selecting “Technical Analysis” as the category and “Intermediate” as the difficulty will show only intermediate-level technical analysis articles.

Recommended Learning Path

While you are free to browse any article in any order, the recommended approach is to follow the structured path:

  1. Start with Beginner articles — Build your foundation with market fundamentals, chart reading basics, and introductory risk management.
  2. Progress to Intermediate — Once you are comfortable with the basics, advance to multi-indicator strategies, backtesting, and deeper technical analysis.
  3. Tackle Advanced content — When you have practical experience and a solid understanding of intermediate concepts, explore algorithmic trading, quantitative strategies, and professional techniques.

This progressive approach ensures each new article builds on knowledge you have already acquired, preventing gaps in understanding that could hurt your trading performance.

Education vs. Strategies

The Education section and the Strategies section serve different but complementary purposes:

  • Education articles teach you concepts, theory, and skills. They explain the “why” behind trading decisions.
  • Strategies provide specific, actionable trading setups with defined rules. They show you the “how” of executing trades.

Think of Education as your coursework and Strategies as your playbook. Master the concepts through Education, then apply them using the Strategies section.

Note: With 28 articles planned across all three difficulty levels, the Education Library is actively growing. New content is published regularly, so check back often for fresh material.
